Hindustan Construction Company won a Rs 5.24 billion contract from NHPC Limited for civil and hydro-mechanical works at the Salal Power Station in Jammu & Kashmir. The 27-month project will rehabilitate concrete-dam undersluices to improve efficiency, strengthen sediment management, and enhance long-term dam safety and reliability.
