Hanwha climbed to No. 16 in Defense News’ global Top 100 defense firms, helped by sharply higher defense revenue. Its Hanwha Group ranked 16th with about $10.44 billion in 2025 revenue. Hanwha Aerospace also signed a deal with Indra Sistemas to export K9 howitzer prototypes worth up to $262.9 million, while Hanwha Philly Shipyard was selected to build two missile range ships for the U.S. Missile Defense Agency under a roughly $2 billion project.
