Handwave expands Visa partnership to scale palm biometric payments in Europe

Handwave expanded its partnership with Visa to roll out biometric payments across Europe. The agreement has Handwave integrate Visa tokenisation, authentication and fraud-prevention technologies to link payment cards to users’ palms and speed onboarding. Visa will provide market insights and marketing support, and the tech may be made available via the Visa Acceptance Platform for banks, acquirers and merchants already connected to Visa.
