Hacker pleads guilty to data theft from 165+ Snowflake customers
Connor Moucka pleaded guilty to hacking more than 165 companies after using Snowflake access to breach their systems. Prosecutors say he stole call and texting records, banking details, driver’s license numbers, and Social Security numbers, then extorted victims for more than $2.5 million. The DOJ estimates victims’ losses at $9.5 million, and Moucka faces sentencing on October 27.
