A threat actor called TheHatman claims to have stolen millions of employee records from Azure tenants of several Fortune 500 firms, including McDonald’s and Vodafone, posting large internal directories on cybercrime forums. Hudson Rock says the data is highly likely authentic, but the intrusion path is unclear, ranging from infostealers and phishing to MFA gaps and third-party API abuse.
