H&M Supplier Accused of Blocking Union Strikes in Turkey
Turkish garment supplier Eroğlu Giyim, which makes clothing for H&M Group, Inditex and PVH, is accused of preventing worker strikes after it moved production toward Egypt. A union said staff at the Avcılar site were threatened with dismissal if they joined a strike. The supplier also closed two Turkish factories, eliminating more than 3,000 jobs, and Amnesty said it assessed labor-rights commitments across 21 brands.
