GoPro Reports $51 Million Loss After Founder Lends $20 Million
GoPro’s second-quarter results were weak despite launching the Mission 1 Series cameras, with unit sales down 38% year over year to about 291,000. The company recorded a $51 million GAAP loss ($0.30 per share). GoPro’s founder and CEO Nicholas Woodman lent $20 million, while NASDAQ warned the company it is no longer compliant with listing requirements.
