Google Signs 15-Year Deal to Buy RWE’s Oklahoma Solar Power
Google signed a 15-year power purchase agreement with RWE to source the full output from the 155-megawatt Crooked Creek Solar project in Oklahoma. The project is expected to generate about $24.3 million for McCurtain County during construction, plus about $1.4 million in state and local taxes, and employ up to 250 peak workers. Once operating, it will supply electricity for Google’s Southwest Power Pool operations, with construction later this year and operations starting in 2028.
