Goodyear Hit With Washington Wage-and-Hour Class Action Claiming Unpaid Breaks
An hourly, non-exempt Goodyear worker filed a Washington state class action alleging the tire maker shorted wages by denying required meal and rest breaks, failing to pay off-the-clock time, not allowing paid sick leave, issuing incomplete wage statements and not reimbursing expenses. The proposed class covers hourly workers in Washington within three years of filing; similar suits target Pizza Hut, Campbell’s and 7-Eleven.
