GM Reaches Up to $4.5 Billion Parts Deal to Reduce Supply Disruptions
General Motors has reached a multibillion-dollar parts purchasing facility aimed at preserving cash and preventing supply chain disruptions. In a public filing, GM said Procura Auto Parts would specialize in sourcing rare or critical parts, funded by a bank syndicate led by JPMorgan and Banco Santander to prepay suppliers. GM will repay after parts are used, no later than July 31, 2029.
