In the management control dispute over Korea Zinc, Glass Lewis endorsed Baek In-gyu for the audit committee director role proposed by Korea Zinc’s board for the Sept. 9 extraordinary general meeting. It rated Baek higher than Park Yu-kyung on accounting, auditing, and internal controls, finding no evidence of independence issues tied to Baek’s Deloitte background. Other proxy advisers also recommended voting for Baek and against Park.
