Gilead Opens 182,000-Sq-Ft Research Hub to Advance Oncology and Inflammation
Gilead Sciences opened a 182,000-square-foot research centre at its Foster City headquarters, bringing oncology, inflammation and research data science teams together for the first time. The facility will host about 325 staff, including 260 lab scientists, with flexible lab spaces and a Research Quad to support collaboration. It is part of Gilead’s $32bn U.S. investment through 2030, with a Technical Development Center due in 2027 and a biologics manufacturing facility planned for 2029.
