GE Vernova and LS Electric form JV for VSC-HVDC Korea power grid
GE Vernova and South Korea’s LS Electric have signed an agreement to create a joint venture aimed at the VSC-HVDC market, positioned as a key component of Korea’s next-generation power grid. The partnership focuses on VSC technology for more flexible, controllable transmission. The locally anchored JV is intended to strengthen both firms’ presence and accelerate growth in a rapidly investing Asia-Pacific grid infrastructure market.
