GE Aerospace to Acquire CPP to Expand Mission-Critical Castings Capacity
GE Aerospace has agreed to acquire Consolidated Precision Products (CPP) from Warburg Pincus and Berkshire Partners in a deal valued at about $11.75 billion, including $7 billion in cash and debt for the remaining consideration. CPP, based in Cleveland, produces precision castings for commercial aerospace and defense. The acquisition is expected to expand critical casting capacity and close in the second half of 2027, pending regulatory approvals.
