GE Aerospace Profit Rises as Margins Weaken on Cost Inflation
GE Aerospace reported second-quarter 2026 operating profit of $2.75 billion, up 18% year over year, but its non-GAAP operating margin fell to 21.7%, down 130 bps, driven by growth investments and cost inflation. Cost of sales jumped 26.7% to $8.7 billion. Updated guidance points to 17% year-over-year top-line growth at the midpoint, helped by higher LEAP deliveries and aftermarket services.
