Fujitsu, Monash and CSIRO sign MoU for quantum system access

Fujitsu, Monash University, and CSIRO have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to give Australian researchers and students direct access to Fujitsu’s superconducting quantum systems in Japan, including a 256-qubit processor based on RIKEN and deployed in April 2025. The pact targets improved access for Australian teams and supports workforce training via a potential permanent on-soil node.
