FSSAI revoked an earlier July 29 order affecting United Spirits whisky products made at the company’s third-party Madhya Pradesh facility, after engagement with the regulator. The original order under the Food Safety and Standards Act cited label nonconformity with required provisions. United Spirits said the revocation causes no material operational or financial impact and attributed a delayed disclosure to internal verification.
