Denver-based Frontier Airlines is cutting its active fleet by 18 aircraft to stem mounting losses, reporting a $137 million net loss for 2025. Under an AerCap agreement it is returning 24 leased A320neo jets early, and it has reached consensus with Airbus to defer 69 A320neo deliveries to 2031–2033, targeting about $200 million in annual run-rate savings by 2027.
