Frasers CFO urges Accent chair Lawrence Myers to resign amid bid pressure
Frasers, already holding nearly half of Accent Group, is stepping up takeover pressure after Accent’s trading update showed EBITDA down 3.4% to just under A$279 million and sales up 1.2% to A$1.64 billion. Frasers CFO Chris Wootton has demanded the immediate resignation of Accent non-executive chair Lawrence Myers, citing his approach and the company’s results.
