Franklin man pleads guilty in $15M Bridgestone fraud, faces up to 40 years
A Franklin man admitted creating a fake vendor and emailing phony monthly invoices to Bridgestone staff for four years. Bridgestone paid more than $14.9 million into accounts he controlled, and he moved the money into personal and investment holdings, earning over $6.1 million. He owes restitution of $14.9 million plus interest and faces up to 20 years per count.
