A former Disney Channel actress filed a negligence lawsuit against The Walt Disney Company in Los Angeles County Superior Court, alleging an adult male Disney employee sexually assaulted her repeatedly while she was 14 during production of the 2001 made-for-TV movie The Poof Point in Salt Lake City. The suit alleges Disney personnel and the director ignored warning signs and directed her to bond with and trust the man, including separating her from her guardian.
