A 47,300-square-foot Oceanside, Long Island space that housed an Amazon Fresh supermarket will be reassigned through Amazon’s lease to its wholly owned Whole Foods business, after Amazon notified the landlord. The shift reflects Amazon’s plan to close its remaining Amazon Fresh stores and expand Whole Foods, which has hundreds of locations in the U.S. and abroad.
