Ford Ramps F-Series Pickup Production After Sales Drop in August

Ford is continuing to ramp up production of its F-Series full-size pickups, including the F-150 and larger siblings, after fires at an aluminum supplier disrupted output over the past year. Production has increased every month this year and is at or slightly above historical levels. August sales fell 10.3% year over year, and dealers have about 40 days of pickup supply.
