Ford unveiled its all-electric midsize pickup, the Fathom, with a starting price of $29,945 and an expectation of affordability around $30,000. The truck will be the first to offer Apple Maps embedded in vehicles. Ford says the Fathom name came from a nine-month selection process tied to its Universal Electric Vehicle platform and new sub-assembly based manufacturing approach.
