Fluidstack Valued at $18 Billion as Google Supplies TPUs for Data Centers

Google has begun selling TPUs directly to other companies, making them a growing alternative to Nvidia’s AI chips. Anthropic signed a deal to buy up to 1 million TPUs to power the next generation of Claude, with Fluidstack set to build the required data centers. Fluidstack also closed a $1.5 billion funding round valuing it at over $18 billion as it prepares 1.3 gigawatts of capacity.
