Flight attendants union files grievance on Alaska long-haul staffing from Seattle
Alaska Airlines flight attendants represented by the AFA-CWA filed a grievance over understaffing on the airline’s newest long-haul routes from Seattle, focusing on Alaska-branded Boeing 787 flights to Seoul, Rome and London. About 400 Hawaiian attendants staff these routes. A hearing will determine operational changes, amid claims that reallocating an attendant creates a chaotic onboard environment.
