FirstEnergy employees coordinated with Ohio wildlife officials to rescue an osprey trapped in debris inside its nest on a transmission structure in northeast Ohio. The bird was entangled in frayed string woven into the nest. An Ohio Edison crew used a 125-foot bucket truck and partnered with an ODNR wildlife officer to safely lower the bird for observation and care, supporting wildlife protection alongside reliable electric service.
