First Alstom Coradia Stream EMUs begin regular service in Bulgaria

The first two Alstom Coradia Stream EMUs from a 35-train Bulgaria order have started commercial service, initially running on four routes. Deliveries continue under a 2025 Ministry contract with BULEMU, with 12 units already delivered and 23 more planned by April 2027. The rolling stock renewal is the first new Bulgarian supply in 20 years and supports wireless internet on board.
