Italian shipbuilder Fincantieri launched Oceania Sonata at its Marghera yard as the first of five planned ships in Oceania Cruises’ new Sonata class. The ~86,000 gt vessel will host 1,390 guests, with deliveries targeted for 2027. The programme includes four sister ships, following the firm’s prior Allura-class deliveries.
