A complaint alleges fake BHEL appointment letters were created with forged BHEL letterheads, seals and signatures to make documents appear genuine. Police say Narendra Pratap Patel allegedly received ₹12.95 lakh from Sanjay Kumar and other prospective candidates. Investigators are probing how many people were approached and where fraud proceeds went, examining bank accounts, transfers, mobile and digital communications, and possible accomplices.
