FAA Certifies Boeing 737-7 After Testing and Engine Anti-Ice Update
The U.S. FAA has certified Boeing’s 737-7, validating the design and a multi-year certification effort through comprehensive testing and analysis. Boeing also updated the engine anti-ice system to address a condition identified during flight testing, and is preparing the first aircraft with changes to the final configuration. The 737-7 seats 135 to 160 in two classes and offers about 10% more range potential than other 737 MAX variants.
