ExxonMobil’s Mozambique unit, acting for the Area 4 partners, has awarded McDermott Energy Solutions a letter of intent for limited engineering and procurement services for Rovuma LNG Phase 1 midstream development. Building on McDermott’s earlier FEED work, the project targets 12 modular liquefaction trains producing 18.6 million metric tons of LNG per year, supporting Mozambique’s growth as a major LNG supplier.
