Block 15 has produced more than 2.7 billion barrels over 30 years. ExxonMobil’s Angola chief executive Brian Unietis said the Notch discovery highlights Block 15 as one of Angola’s most significant deepwater developments, and that new finds can increase the value of existing infrastructure amid renewed drilling under updated Luanda fiscal terms.
