Expand Energy Lands $1.25B LNG Deal and Raises Free Cash Flow Target
Expand Energy, held by 70 hedge funds worth about $2.7B, plans to lean into rising U.S. natural gas demand. As the largest North American producer, it secured a 20-year LNG sales and purchase deal for 1.15 million tonnes per year with Delfin, starting in 2031, for $1.25B. The company lifted marketing free cash flow guidance to $750M, though shares are down more than 14% YTD.
