Filings with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission suggest Public Service of New Hampshire, a Eversource subsidiary, may be considering a facility interconnection in Bow. Granite Shore Power, which owns the coal plant Merrimack Station set to close in 2028, seeks a viability assessment for a 350-megawatt grid interconnection. Granite Shore Power says no decisions are made and estimates the assessment cost at about $75,000.
