Etu Energias to acquire Chevron Angola deepwater assets for $260M
Etu Energias has signed an agreement to buy Chevron’s interests in two producing deepwater blocks offshore Angola for $260 million, raising Etu to 60% in Block 14 and 30% in Block 14K. Etu plans to take operatorship of Block 14 after completion, subject to ANPG and other regulatory approvals. Block 14 produces about 42,000 bopd gross and has 93 MMbbl gross reserves. The deal is expected to close in early 2027.
