Ericsson and MTN Group Fintech have migrated MTN’s Mobile Money (MoMo) platform to cloud-native technology in Ghana, Uganda, Rwanda and Eswatini. Using the Ericsson Fintech Platform, the effort replaces legacy systems with a scalable, standardized architecture and is expanding to Cameroon, with further plans for Benin, Republic of the Congo and Zambia.
