Equinor Takes Delivery of First US Gulf Coast LNG Cargo Bound for Europe
Equinor took delivery of its first LNG cargo under long-term supply agreements with Cheniere. The cargo was loaded at Sabine Pass in Louisiana and is bound for Europe, with future deliveries also serving Asia. The 15-year deals will supply about 3.5 million tpy of LNG, helping Equinor double its LNG portfolio by 2030 and strengthen energy security for international customers.
