Citrus Flatts is East Point Energy’s second battery storage site in Texas, following the 10-megawatt Sunset Ridge facility that came online in Frio County last year. Equinor says the projects support its growing integrated power business, helping manage intermittent wind generation and reduce high electricity prices when demand rises, while improving grid reliability for data-center-heavy Texas.
