Equinix expanded the availability of Microsoft Azure connectivity in its IBX data centres in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and Jakarta, Indonesia, aiming to support enterprises building distributed, low-latency, resilient digital infrastructure for AI and business-critical workloads across Southeast Asia. Malaysia’s AI plan highlights that secure low-latency cloud connectivity can help drive GDP growth and AI-related jobs by 2030. Equinix operates the JK1 Jakarta IBX as carrier-neutral infrastructure for modern cloud and AI workloads.
