Warburg Pincus has agreed to sell its majority stake in McGill and Partners to EQT for a $2.0 billion transaction. McGill founders and management will reinvest alongside EQT, retaining meaningful ownership as the firm continues serving clients globally. EQT will partner with the team to accelerate organic growth, including through talent recruitment.
