EQT agrees £10.9bn acquisition of Intertek in major take-private deal
After months of negotiations, Intertek has agreed to be acquired by EQT in a deal valued at about £10.9bn ($14.5bn), including debt. Shareholders will receive £61.077 per share via £60 cash and a dividend. Abu Dhabi Investment Authority plans to contribute around £1bn and Mubadala about £500m, with EQT holding roughly 76% and other investors taking the remainder.
