Apple has until Monday to respond to a CADE antitrust complaint filed by Epic Games in Brazil. Epic alleges Apple applies the App Store deal restrictively, undermining alternative iOS app marketplaces and payment methods and imposing extra “Core Technology Commission” fees on off-App Store digital goods. Epic also claims Apple’s reporting requirements exceed what’s needed and may let it monitor competitors’ models.
