The Food Bank of North Central Arkansas received a $4,250 incentive from Entergy Arkansas for completing energy-efficiency projects through the Core Continuous Energy Improvement initiative. The program’s savings are estimated to generate about 29,750 meals for children, families and seniors. The food bank earned the incentive by attending workshops and adjusting equipment and schedules to cut electricity use.
