Entain confirms FTSE 100 exit after market-cap drop

FTSE Russell confirmed Entain will drop off the FTSE 100 after a sharp market-cap decline left it lowest in the index, ending its six-year listing. The Ladbrokes Coral owner’s shares slid further and are down over 75% since 2021. The CFO said Entain is gaining market share, even as Remote Gaming Duty increases contributed to a jump in the group’s corporate tax charge and a wider net loss.
