Eni Becomes Operator of Uruguay OFF-5 Offshore Exploration Block
Eni, together with MIWEN and Uruguay’s national oil company ANCAP, signed an official agreement to enter the OFF-5 offshore exploration block in Uruguay after approval by local authorities. Eni will operate the block with a 50% interest alongside MIWEN’s 50%, as the area enters its first exploration period and studies progress to mature hydrocarbon potential using Eni’s technologies.
