Eni Announces $8.5B Plan to Fast-Track Denise West Gas Development in Egypt

Eni said it is working with BP and Egypt’s EGPC on the newly discovered Denise West natural gas field. Announced in April, the discovery will use existing regional infrastructure for a fast-track project. Eni also noted Cronos gas development will support Egypt’s Mediterranean energy-hub ambitions and strengthen its exploration and production position, building on its presence since 1954.
