ENGIE Reaches 10.7GW Global BESS Capacity After European Expansion
ENGIE says European BESS growth has lifted its global storage capacity to 10.7GW, either operating or under construction. It added 1.1GW/3.3GWh across seven countries in July and August, bringing Europe to 4.7GW, while the US totals 4.4GW. The company targets 95GW of installed renewables and storage by decade end, including projects in Poland, Romania and Spain.
