ENGIE has provided NADEC with a dedicated solar PV power plant in NADEC City, Haradh, supplying electricity from a 30 MWp facility. The project is expected to cut NADEC’s annual fuel use by about 124,000 barrels of heavy and light fuel oil currently burned in captive diesel generators, supporting its energy transition. ENGIE also links the deal to attracting foreign investment and creating local jobs.
