Eneva and GE Vernova started commercial operations at the 295 MW Azulão I gas power plant in Silves, Amazonas, flipping the switch on Aug. 19, 2026. The facility delivers firm, dispatchable capacity to Brazil’s National Interconnected System for 15 years and begins supplying the national grid, using GE Vernova’s 7HA.02 H-Class turbine and a custom SSR blocking filter built for reliable operation.
